Adheres to the mission of SPCAA. 2. Monitor NCPs participation activities, ie., job search, weekly follow-up, and verification of outcomes, including jail time for NCP non-compliance. 3. Interviews and determines if applicants are eligible for training and employment services based on eligibility guidelines. 5. Completes applicant documents and forms accurately and expeditiously. 6. Follows standard procedures to administer and evaluate interest, aptitude, and achievement tests and work samples. Provide assessment results to assist participants in setting appropriate goals and identifying appropriate education and training options. 7. Develops materials and conducts workshops, job clubs and other customer group meetings. 8. Assists customers to access basic self help services through effective use of the resource center. 9. Keeps abreast of revisions and changes impacting the eligibility of applicants, and reporting requirements. 10. Refers applicants that have other training interests to other agencies, training centers or community organizations, as appropriate. 11. Maintains detailed participant records in compliance with agency's policies and procedures. 12. Inputs information into and maintains TWIST, COLTS and WIT records. 13. Compiles and distributes accurate intake and assessment reports. Submits a weekly report summarizing daily activities. 14. Performs other work related duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Associate Degree with coursework in Psychology, Sociology, or related field and one (1) year of related experience performing intake and certification work, or a combination of experience and education. Driver - Levelland (1) and Muleshoe (1)

The Levelland positions covers Hockley and surrounding counties. The Littlefield position covers Lamb and surrounding counties. The Muleshoe position covers Bailey and surrounding counties. Drive transportation vehicles to pick-up and drop off passengers in accordance with agency policies and specific instructions from central dispatch office. Assist passengers in and out of vehicles. Responsible for safety of passengers riding in assigned transportation vehicle. Inspect assigned vehicle to determine maintenance needs prior to actual operation of the vehicle. Report vehicle maintenance and repair needs to Transit Supervisor and work with Dispatch/Operations, other staff and vendors to secure needed service. Perform routine and minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle according to direction of the Transit Supervisor, Division Director, and/or their designee. Maintain assigned transportation vehicle in a clean condition. Complete driver's trip logs and other records as required. Maintain accurate records and submit reports as necessary on a timely basis. GED/High School diploma or CDL and driving experience with public transportation provider for 2 years. Must be at least 25 years of age. Age may be wavered on acceptable driving record. Must be willing to take and pass pre-employment test and, upon employment, be willing to take and pass additional drug and alcohol tests as required by the FTA for "safety sensitive" positions. Employees are subject to: random pool selection, reasonable cause, post-accident, and return to duty testing procedures. Ability to learn and perform First Aid, CPR and passenger assistance techniques and procedures. Ability to read and write in the English language to handle business transactions. Ability to perform simple mathematical computations to include the four basic skills plus simple factions and percentages. As defined by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) abstain from prohibited conduct regarding the use of drugs and/or alcohol (including medications) prior to and during performance of "safety sensitive" job functions. Must be accepted by Agency insurance. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSED REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least a Class C Drivers License. Must have and maintain an acceptable driver's record. Drivers license background checks will be conducted by the Agency. Must pass a medical examination equal to the standard required by the National Truck Driving Industry. Requires frequent periods of sitting for an extended period of time. May require frequent periods of standing or walking at times. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Maintenance - Part Time - Denver City

Caring persons needed to provide housekeeping and personal care services in the homes of elderly and adults/children with disabilities in Lubbock, Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, Lamb, Lynn, Terry, Briscoe, Castro, Hall, Palmer, and Swisher Counties. Maintenance Tech-Part time in Brownfield

The Custodian will is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to cleaning and the up keeping of orderly conditions of SPCAA premises and is responsible for providing custodial and janitorial services. Neighborhood Center Worker- 1 Full time and 1 Part time position

Valid Texas Drivers License, ability to operate personal computer within a windows software environment, including word processing, the internet, and email required. Working through the Neighborhood center the aide will inform all area residents of their services and programs and be responsible for outreach information, referral services follow up, interviews, and determining eligibility. The center worker performs duties primary within the programs of Community Services that include Comprehensive Energy Assistance programs/divisions as needed. The center worker should be able to discuss all programs/services available to low-income individuals within their county of service. CSBG ARRA Coordinator- Full time Temporary

The program coordinator performs duties primarily with the CSBG ARRA Program. The Coordinator will assist all SPCAA programs/ divisions as needed and conduct a needs assessment in SPCAA's 6 outlying counties. The coordinator will work closely with community partners in order to deliver services as addressed in the Service Delivery Plan. The duties are of a sensitive and confidential nature.
