Workforce Solutions Child Care Services assists low-income families pay for child care, provides information about choosing quality child care, and assists families to locate other community resources. The program also works to improve the quality of child care in the region by providing training and training resources to early childhood programs.
The Child Care Division Director has overall responsibility for all Child Care Services functions, and supervises all Child Care Division departments including Administration/Support Staff, Client Services, Child Development, Quality Improvements, Child Nutrition, and any new programs implemented as a result of new funding opportunities. This position works across several funding sources to provide skilled nursing services, nursing assessments, and care coordination for persons residing within a 15 county area. This position includes the direct supervision of non-licensed staff in the performance of activities of daily living for aged and disabled clients. Spartan Driver- Part time Snyder/ Colorado City

Drive transportation vehicles to pick-up and drop off passengers in accordance with agency policies and specific instructions from central dispatch office. Assist passengers in and out of vehicles. Responsible for safety of passengers riding in assigned transportation vehicle. Inspect assigned vehicle to determine maintenance needs prior to actual operation of the vehicle. Report vehicle maintenance and repair needs to Transit Supervisor and work with Dispatch/Operations, other staff and vendors to secure needed service. Perform routine and minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle according to direction of the Transit Supervisor, Division Director, and/or their designee. Caring persons needed to provide housekeeping and personal care services in the homes of elderly and adults/children with disabilities in Lubbock, Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, Lamb, Lynn, Terry, Briscoe, Castro, Hall, Palmer, and Swisher Counties. Providers give non-technical care to persons who are elderly and to adults and children with disabilities. This assistance enables them to remain safely in their homes. The most common tasks that attendants provide are assistance with activities of daily living such as: bathing, dressing, cleaning, laundry, and preparing meals. Other tasks may be provided depending on the person's individual needs. Providers must be dependable and able to pass criminal history and reference checks.
