Patients Rights:
- Be treated with dignity,
consideration and respect.
- Have your property treated with
respect.
- Be fully informed on admission of
the care and treatment
that will be
provided by us, how much it will
cost and how payment will be
handled.
- Know in advance if you will be
responsible for any payment.
- Receive care from professionally
trained personnel.
- Participate in designing a care
plan for your needs and
periodically updating it as your
condition changes. Refuse
treatment and to be told the
consequences of your action.
- Confident information related to
your care within regulations.
- Be informed within a reasonable period of
time of anticipated
termination of
services. Referred elsewhere, if you are
denied services based solely on your
inability to pay.
- Execute a legal living will, to
authorize discontinuation of treatment
which will be respected in accordance
with agency policy.
- Know how to make a complaint or
recommend changes in agency
policies
and services and have the freedom to do so.
