The Provider Business Services Specialist is responsible for working with the Workforce Solutions Child Care Services Providers. Duties include recruitment of new Providers, providing technical assistance and training to new and existing Providers, in addition, completion of all necessary forms, contracts, and data entry in the paperless system. Duties also include providing business services, outreach and quality support to child care facilities throughout the South Plains delivery area. The goal of this position is to increase the capacity and quality of child care facilities throughout the designated region. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Applicants must be extremely organized, detailed oriented and have excellent computer skills.

Education requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college with a concentration in child development, elementary education, social work or related field; One year of specified experience may be substituted for one year (30 semester hours) of college with a maximum substitution of two years.

OR

Associates degree or higher with a concentration in child development, elementary education, social work or related field.
