Child Care Services (CCS) assists low income families pay for child care, provides information about choosing quality child care, and assists families to locate other community resources. The program also works to improve the quality of child care in the region by providing training and training resources to early childhood programs.
The Client Services Specialist determines eligibility for families requesting services, assesses their needs for child care, and follows current guidelines for the enrollment or wait listing for those eligible. Is responsible for all paperwork, data entry, and on-going management of assigned cases. Must be able to perform duties in a positive work mode and serve current and prospective clients in a professional manner. Ability to learn and function in a paperless environment. Will also serve as backup for receptionist if necessary.
