Workforce Solutions hosted Quality Day of Play on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event featured hands-on activities, children’s books, community resource booths, food trucks, PBS characters and emergency and community vehicles. Texas Rising Star Child Care Providers displayed interactive booths for children to participate in interactive and developmental play. The event highlighted the important connection between quality childcare, early learning, and workforce development while giving families an opportunity to learn about resources available in the community.

Community members came out to participate in the event with over 300 children stopping by with their parents and guardians.

Learning happens everywhere and sometimes the best learning happens when children are simply having fun!
