South Plains Community Action Assoc. staff traveled to Frisco, Texas last week to join the annual TACAA (Texas Association of Community Action Agencies) Conference. At the conference, SPCAA staff attended valuable workshops and seminars to improve their service skills to the South Plains community. In addition to professionalism efforts, SPCAA staff also participated in various competitive team building activities! SPCAA took first and second place in the foosball competition. Championship honors were also awarded for the cornhole competition. SPCAA also won the agency award for most Club 199 and Club 500 memberships supporting the National Community Action Foundation. Individual SPCAA staff were also awarded at the conference- Monica Warren was recognized for her 25 years of service with Community Action.
